  I like the new and improved Smitty's! The renovated bar/lounge area is really nice, it doesn't seem like my Grandparents favourite restaurant anymore. Except for the Grilled cheese poster on the way out. Who wants to see grilled cheese when they are leaving a restaurant full?! That immediately dragged me back to old Smitty's when i saw it. Take those food posters off the wall when we're leaving.

  This smitty's I don't understand. The food was good... took a really really long time even though there was nobody in the place. And the weird thing was that the lounge area is not separated from the restaurant. Well it is, but its not. No wall, no partition... just open concept. Now when I go to watch a game in a lounge, I'm thinking "hey I have a sitter for my kids, I feel like having some adult time" not having to listen to a baby crying in the restaurant section while I have to "watch my mouth" for the children, which are within earshot of me, because Hutchingson or Hellebuyck let in another goal. The patio looked nice, but I didn't get to experience that was a little cold that day. Maybe when I'm down in the area I will give this place another try. Hopefully there's no Blue bomber game, grab the ear plugs kiddies.

  Great food and service. They have a few additional and specialty items on the menu as this one is owned independently
