  The service depends on the person. I think the area has more of an influence. Considering Transcona still has a small town environment, you might not receive the same level of service if staff are noticing you're new to the area. They will happily chat up the person in front of you and then quickly change to a more serious, short-toned manner once your up. I find the younger employees are more friendly than the older ones. The store isn't too big or too small. The carts don't require coinage. It's right off the main road and near a small strip mall. It's not overly busy, often, but the service at customer service can take quite awhile. The longest I waited to get some bus tickets was 20 minutes. And that was because the cashier at the tills didn't want to leave her post to get them for me and told me to wait at customer service. The Tim Hortons in there is convenient. If you have a few grocery items you can pay for them at the Tim Hortons while you get your coffee or whatever, as long as it's nothing that needs to be weighed. It's sometimes faster to do that than going to the express lanes.

  It's just the right size of store and you don't have to walk a long ways to find what you need. They have pretty much everything we need and the staff is very friendly.
