- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆When it comes to Prairie Gearboxes, you have no other choice but to contact this manufacturing company for original OEM parts unless you are willing to update your gearbox to another current design of gearbox. The problem with this company is that Don Burke (the general sales manager, or rather, the only guy ever available to answer any questions) works half the day and can never keep a promise to return inquiry phone calls or even provide a simple quote on time. His receptionist, Janice, can care less what goes on in the company or what impression a customer has and her only job consists of answering phone calls and passing along messages.
