  Wait time was ridiculous considering there were tables that were available. Two people came in before us and were told it would be a ten minute wait. No one even bothered to come and acknowledge us for a while. Then when they did we were told we would have to wait for a seat. I asked why the wait considering I can see open clean tables. It was because they were switching over from day staff to night staff. I don't see why we couldn't have been seated at a table and waited there. They really need to have a smoother transition from day to night staff that doesn't inconvenience potential customers. We decided we'd rather go somewhere else that could seat and serve us and can actually handle staff change over. This Montana's clearly has some more training that is needed for staff change over.

  Went to this location near IKEA on Tuesday afternoon around 4:15 pm, it took the server over 10 minutes to come ask for drinks, another 15 minutes to come take our order. Server never came to check if we were doing OK or were looking to order more. Had to call server for it, she gave us the menu and never showed up for another 15 minutes. By now we were in this restaurant for 1 hour and 15 minutes and just had a burger and an ice tea. We had enough and left the place disappointing. All this happened on a quiet Tuesday afternoon. Came home, filled out the company survey to provide the feedback. Location Manager called the next day with some apologies and still shielding their server (which according to her was an experienced server) with lame excuses. To make up for our bad experience, she offered to have my name listed in restaurant's credit book to offer us free appetizers on our next visit (LOL, Montana's already offers free appetizer for filling their online survey). Bad service and equally lame follow up for the same.
